What Is A “Gentiles”?

All references to the term “gentiles” in the NT are referring to the Israelite s from earlier migrations and the descendants of the 13 tribes that were taken into the Assyrian captivity and scattered throughout the known world. These Israelite’s were the beginning of the MANY nations promised to Abraham in the Abrahamic Covenant, which was to come from the loins of Abraham through the Promised Seed Isaac, through Jacob, and the 12 tribes of Israel.

Whether you want to accept this is Totally Irrelevant. The Abrahamic Covenant is the Basis for EVERYTHING In the Scriptures after Genesis 12. The words you will find in Scripture that have been erroneously translated as “gentile” are goy in Hebrew and ethnos in Greek, and usually, but not always, simply mean “nations.” It’s like the promise to Abraham; he was promised by Yahveh that his offspring would become many “goy.” Under that criteria, all the children of Israel were “gentiles.” So the first mistake was using the term “gentile”, not knowing its true meaning. It’s a term which we should avoid like the plague! And if on occasion we do use the term, we should make clear the context we’re using it in. I would recommend that Christians, and so-called Theologians, in their ignorance, not use the term at all, ever! Better than 90% of the time in the New Testament, when the term “gentile” is used, it is speaking of the lost tribes of Israel. And is that not what Abraham was promised? – “I will make you many goy or nations”, or in the Greek “ethnos.”

2. a multitude of individuals of the same nature or genus the human family
3. a tribe, nation, people group

When Jerome composed the Latin Vulgate of the Bible, there was no word in the Latin world for Ethnos. He chose a common Latin word gentilis and its meaning is as follows,,,,,
of or belonging to the same family or gēns of slaves who bore the same name as their master
poetic – foreign, exotic of or belonging to the same people or nation

William Finck – “There are three major aspects of Old Testament Scripture, both in its history and in its prophecy, which Paul of Tarsus had indubitably held in mind as he wrote his epistles to the Christian assemblies of Europe and Anatolia: First, that the ancient children of Israel were practitioners of pagan idolatry, and not of the Hebrew law. Therefore, they do not appear as Hebrews in their dispersions, but as pagans. Second, that the ancient children of Israel were all taken off from Palestine and the ancient Kingdom of Yahweh as a result of that idolatry. And third, that there were promises of God which were made to the patriarchs concerning the children of Israel which transcended either their adherence to or their apostasy from the Covenants and among those were the promises that they would multiply into an innumerable people and become many nations.”

We must be careful when quoting from the Canaanite-Judaeans! There are three distinct entities which we should not group together, and they are,
(1) the house of pure-blooded Israel,
(2) the house of pure-blooded Judah, and
(3) the house of the mixed-blooded Kenite-Edomite-Canaanites converted to Judaism by John Hyrcanus near 125 B.C., and all the mixed-blooded proselytes they the (Kenite-Edomite-Canaanites) have picked up along the way, even up until today!

Interesting Fact, since there is no Timeline of any sort in the Bible for 1948 or 2018. A day in prophecy = one year; a month in prophecy = 30 days (or 30 years); a prophetic year = 360 days (or 360 years). Numbers 14:33,34a; Ezekiel 4:4-6 A Time = 360 years. The 7 Times Punishment of ALL Israel was a period of 7 x 360 = 2520 years. The period of Time of Punishment for the 10 tribed Northern house of Israel and the portion of the 3 tribe house of Judah that was taken into the Assyrian Captivity begins in 745 BC and the captivities of the various tribes continued until 680 BC. The 3 tribe house of Judah captivity by Babylon began in 605 BC and the tribe of Benjamin was the last tribe taken in 586 BC. Each tribe would be Punished for 2520 years respective to the year they went into Captivity. A prophetic year is not a calendar year nor is a calendar year a prophetic year! There is NO Mathematical equation where the year 1948 or 2018 can be fit into the 7 Times Punishment. And the 70 years ‘anniversary’ of the Illegitimate state of Israeli, is a play on Daniel’s 70 weeks of years which was completely fulfilled in 70 AD.

Exactly 2520 years from the year that the tribe of Manasseh was taken into the Assyrian Captivity, 745 BC, the Greatest Christian Nation in history was founded as Prophesied in Isaiah 66:7-9,” Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”
